Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner
Lesley Launikitis is a native Houstonian. A Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner, she graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing in 2000. While working at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas she developed a desire to pursue a career in women’s health. Lesley went on to achieve a master’s degree as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2003. Lesley is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners and National Certification Corporation.
Lesley serves as a caring and compassionate women’s health nurse practitioner at the Pelvic Health and Physical Therapy Center with specialized knowledge and training in the evaluation and management of pelvic floor disorders in both men and women. Lesley performs the initial evaluation and will develop a tailored plan of care according to the patient’s individual needs. She works with the other specialists at the center to monitor the patient’s progress and ensure best patient outcomes. She is also board certified by the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance in pelvic muscle dysfunction biofeedback.
